Program Description:
At Keck Graduate Institute (KGI), we prepare future pharmacists for the full spectrum of career opportunities in pharmacy. While our graduates are fully prepared for traditional careers in community pharmacy, hospital and health-system practice, ambulatory care, and residency training, they also gain unparalleled exposure to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries—opening doors to career paths that are rarely emphasized in traditional PharmD programs.

Students personalize their education by selecting one of three career-focused PharmD certificates at the end of their second professional year: 
o	Medication Therapy Outcomes – prepares students for careers in community, ambulatory, hospital, and health-system pharmacy.
o	Pharmacy Informatics and Healthcare Management – prepares students for careers in pharmacy informatics, digital health, healthcare management, and healthcare technology.
o	Medical and Clinical Affairs – prepares students for careers in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, including medical affairs, clinical development, regulatory affairs, and related fields.
These certificates allow students to tailor their education to their professional interests while developing specialized knowledge that distinguishes them in the job market.

Our small class sizes create a highly personalized educational experience where students work closely with faculty mentors, receive individualized advising, participate in research and leadership opportunities, and develop the professional skills needed to thrive in an evolving healthcare landscape.
